Attorney

One lawyer, one office, and a short list of work.

When you call, I answer, or I call you back as soon as I can. When you come in, you meet me, and the same person drafts your documents and sits with you while you sign them. A one-lawyer office is small on purpose, and it means nobody has to explain your situation twice.

I take wills and living trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives, planning for long-term care, special needs trusts, and probate and estate administration. I don’t take litigation, divorces or injury cases. If your question belongs to someone else, I’ll say so in the first conversation and, where I can, suggest who to ask.

Most of my clients are in one of two places: people planning ahead for themselves, and adult children helping a parent. Both are welcome, and often come together.

What I take

  • Wills and living trusts
  • Powers of attorney and directives
  • Paying for long-term care
  • Special needs trusts

The office

Where the office sits

The office is on North Main Street in downtown Greenville, a short walk from Falls Park and the river. Most of the work is done by phone, mail and secure upload, and we meet in person when it helps. I can also come to a parent’s home or a care facility when a visit would be easier than a trip.

Parking is in the downtown garages. When you book, I send directions and the suite number, and I’m glad to meet you at the door.
